Pericardial Mesothelioma

Pericardial mesothelioma occurs when the asbestos particles get lodged in the mesothelium surrounding the heart region of the human body. Once inside this membrane they start interfering with the normal functioning of the mesothelial cells. This interfering leads to the development of the cancerous tissues in the pericardial region which leads to the pericardial mesothelioma. The symptoms of pericardial mesothelioma are similar to the other commonly known diseases. Due to this similarity it is almost impossible to detect this cancer in the early stages.
